Exercise

I really don't like to exercise. There, I said it. I find exercise for exercise's sake to be intolerably boring. I've often thought that if I lived in a city, I'd walk. I love walking TO places. But I live too far out of town, so that's my excuse.

I do a lot of things that give my body a workout as a byproduct - mostly involving gardening and decorating.  But I've always felt a little guilty about the not exercising thing. I know other people get past this and Just Do It. Not me. They don't call me Reb for nuthin.

SO.

I got myself an Ablounge.

And guess what. I sit on it when I watch TV at night, and despite myself, I am actually doing situps for hours on end.  I can hardly believe it.  If it wasn't so easy, I'd never do it.  It feels like a recliner - like those canvas ones you see outdoors - only it moves.  Quietly.

No, I don't have any connection with the Ablounge people. I just love my new chair that gets this slacker moving. And my abs have never been stronger.


If they only made ThighLounge, I'd be in heaven.
